Feeling NAUTICAL: Monday/February 28

Well.. this ensemble of clothes were supposed to be worn last Friday as my usual casual Friday. Thanks to the temperamental weather we had, I did not go to work. Rather than putting together a new one for Monday, I just used the one that I already had from last Friday. Yes, I am lazy like that.

The Warm BROWN-ish: Thursday/February 24

Today is the first day back to work after a long weekend (need more days!). It's almost weekend again  - yay for that - it's not snowing nor raining but it's cold. So I try to keep myself warm (especially since my office feels like an artic most of the time).

Here are what I wore today:



Three quarter folded sleeves light knit brown jacket (Chartered Club) - the neck is also foldable (like funnel neck style)

Cashmere blend (cotton) V-neck sweater: orange (Mossimo)

Jeans: flared leg antique wash (Express)

Shoes: dark brown croco embossed wedges (AK - Anne Klein)

Handbag: orange pebble leather (Dooney & Bourke hobo large)

Belt: reversible woven leather brown (A.N.A.)

Accessories: gold earrings (no brand) and layered long goldtone necklace (HSN), scarf brown/metalic (Ebay) - forgot to put it on display.

It's Time For A ZEBRA Crossing: Friday/February 18

Friday is finally here. Here is my take for this Friday. Very simple & easy.

The Hues of BLUE: Thursday/February 17

It's Thursday, and I have not been sleeping good for the last 2 days. Hint: my youngest son has a cold. So I plan to take it easy on me dressing up to work today. Also, just in case I have to take him to see the doctor if his cough does not stop. Hopefully it is not the case.

It's a Valentine's day today. Not that I'm going to dress for this occasion. But I like to put something a little cheerful in my Monday mood as well as my gray outifts.

An ORANGE A Day.. (Friday: February 11)

I picked up my clothes to work for today last night and as predicted, I went for the 'go-to' outfit, which is jeans. It's kind of boring I admit. But what can I say, it's just so easy (& comfortable) outfit to wear. Especially on Friday.  I made an effort though to make it  interesting. I added an orange (it's called Mandarin) handbag as a popping factor. Yummy!

These outfits are perfect for Thursday in my office. It's winter and it's freezing cold. There is no official rules of 'what to wear' where I work. So this is my interpretation of Thursday in a cold February day.
