Forgot to take picture of the scarf/shawl/Pashmina & the vintage silver earrings (clip on) - as usual. Hopefully there is no snow day or school delay. We Are On A SAFARI: Wednesday/March 02

It is finally March! It is still cold I know, but I could see the light at the end of the tunnel now, I think.
So in an attempt to make my outfits for work today a little bit adventureous, I play around with the trend that is IN for this Spring. A safari jacket. Not head to toe as I'm not driving a jeep in Serengeti (my absolute fave quote from the March InStyle magazine!). Plus, it's still winter!

Unfortunately, I could not find any pattern to make it more interesting. The only pattern/texture is in the handbag, which is why I keep it for this outfits. I think it works too (another lame excuse for my laziness to change handbag).

Here are the details & photos:

Pants: dark brown corduroy boot cut style (Style & Co.)
Safari jacket: short sleeves with a little puff & dark brown skinny belt (INC.)
Layer: long sleeves white cotton tee (Banana Republic)
Wedges: dark brown with croco embossed & goldtone buckle (Style & Co.)
Handbag: orange pebble leather with dark brown leather trims (Francesco Biasa)
Accessories: brass tone loops earrings (no brand); scarf Pashmina (made in India) no brand (Ebay)

TWEED-ing Is Fun: Tuesday/March 01

I determine to create a complete outfit without jeans, especially since it is only Tuesday, far from my 'casual' Thursday or Friday. Usually it the weather is nasty then I give up and just wear jeans, even if it is the beginning of the week.

I am not in the mood of wearing skirts or boots lately. God knows how many skirts and boots that are feeling abandoned right about now. Sigh... well maybe sometimes in the late March/early April, when there is no more snow. I don't want my boots touching the icky black snow!

Here are the photos & details:

Jacket/blazer with tie belt: tweed with tan, orange, brown & beige colors (Dialogue)
Layer: long brown cotton/spandex mix tee (Chadwick)
Pants: light tan corduroy boot cut (Riders)
Wedges: light tan leather with tassle (Arturo Chiang)
Handbag: orange pebble leather with brown leather trims, with a hint of Southwestern, don't you think?  (Francesco Biasia)
Accessories: dangle gold earrings (vintage) - not pictured
